Romantic/Erotic/Unrequited love poetry |
| Little paper hats perched on top of each glass, Waiting for your lips and the firmness of your grasp. Fill it to the brim with the magic you imbibe, Overflowing I can be if you'd just open wide. Full in your mouth, cool across your tongue. Slide down your throat, inside I find you numb. Brush my hands across your heart, press my mouth against your soul. Flick my tongue along your psyche, you're no longer quiet as cold. Sweet like cotton candy your taste it makes me high Or so I do imagine on this magic carpet ride. Stir you to a frenzy, molten heat comes from your core. Steam begins to rise, it opens up my pores. Soak up your heavy essence, press it to my flesh. The seed of your creation lies heavy on my chest. Thread my fingers through the sugar, lick you from my palm. Pleased to see the numbness now replaced by calm. A shudder passes through me, a shiver scrapes my spine. Time to make my exit if I can only find One last taste before I stagger from inside outside. Drunk and wanting more of that magic you imbibe. S. B. Edwards |
