Look in the mirror
what do you see?
I see a failure, a lost cause
staring back at me

She's lost and without hope
She's given up and confused
She's indecisive yet impulsive
She's bewildered and bemused

Stuck in the past
She is lost in the far reaches of time
she's an actress
who has forgotten her lines

So many expectations
she's a failure in her own eyes
a dreamer
her head's in the skies

She struggles to face the facts
so as i look into the mirror
what do i see?
I see a lost soul
staring sadly back at me
