This is on one hand a SONNET and on other hand an ACROSTIC. |
| She was standing beside the fence. Absorbed in reverie she did stand, Noticed she nothing in thought so dense, Grabbing the fence with her left hand. Her hairs were fluttered by playful wind; Away she seemed to be from her. May be some tender feelings in mind Isolated her from the world to star. The serenity in the touch of dusk, Radiant darkness stretching its arm, And world wearing a deep dark mask, Deepened the yonder lass’s charm. Alone she was, may be waiting for someone. She’ll be in mind long after the day has gone… Avijit Roy 06-June-2007 |
