A short poem about the seasons and their connection to life; uses trees as the basis. |
Hazy distances of soft-blown trees Swaying in symbiotic tune Embracing the warm rays Trickling down it’s orating arms Learning to live off the land Teaching the young of what’s to come Silent cold breezes come filtering in Blanketing the orating arms with shivering sensations Stiffening poses in motion Embracing the cool wind Teaching the old how to die Dancing leaves say their goodbyes Falling down a gradient of sky Friends, family, and partners alike are lost forever Yet in vain, they live in the soil Decomposed by trickling water Bringing their children to life Soft-blown breezes, mixes warm and cold Embracing the barren bark Melting the crystallized snow Delivering a new birth Teaching the new what’s to come Starting all over with wisdom left behind All cycled in a natural process Of life and death |
