Thoughts going through my head

Sometimes I wonder
if anyone truly knows

how to care
how to love

Sometimes I wonder
if anyone really thinks

about who they hurt
about who they betray

Sometimes I wonder
if anyone see's

all the pain
all the tears

Sometimes I wonder
if anyone hears

the words that are spoken
the pleas for help

Sometimes I wonder
if anyone thinks

of the forgotten
of the lost

Sometimes I wonder.
