For my Linda, so brave her heart be

Let me take you to a place I fear
Where lonliness grows, and dreams disappear
Where memories brood, where love long since lost
Plays on repeat, a Hell at all costs
I will go on without you,
For I can, for I must
But never again can I love, can I trust
I cannot love with no heart,
Cannot trust with no soul
And I belong to you
Not in part, but in whole
Let me take you to a place that I love
Where there's family and friends
Beyond and above
Anything else that i've ever held dear
For I have loved you for longer
Than months or than years

I've spent just 5 minutes,
Where I thought there was hope
But just as it came
It went, I can't cope
Can't understand
The things that went on
Yet again, here we are
Apart, for so long.

And so I say thank you
For the tears and the joy,
For reviewing my poem
And for changing my ploy.

Sorry, it is still hard to keep a serious poem lol. Anyway Linda, I think you get the jist.
