This is basically a poem I wrote for my girlfriend, more recently. |
| In the last hours of the night the wind swept cheeks of your face grew weary with disappointment. I never thought the evening would end in this manner, but your moonlit, tear infested face proved me wrong. I reached to wipe away the salty mixture in hopes to cheer your sullen face back to the white-toothed version I’d grown so used to. You stepped forth onto that train. My face became more and more distraught. The tears streaming before the very eyes that produced them. The very last moment I remember being with you. |
