Too Good

I wrote this I believe after an argument with my boyfriend

Too Good

I see the lies,
the deep rooted deception.

I see the shame,
the way you try to hide.

Your eyes betray,
the hope you try to give.

I gave my all,
yet you took everything,
you rendered me useless.

You stole my heart,
and ripped me apart,
left me bleeding all alone.

Why did I trust you?
Why did I let you in?

You were too good to be true
Now I am left scared and bruised
