Time

Just a little bit o' something I wrote tonight...

Ought not the bell toll for death today?
It does but stand still in my way.
I must go onward! Through all
that wants to watch me fall
and die like a leaf.
I am no thief,
but take heed!
I need
time.




Form:  Nonet
A nonet has nine lines. The first line has nine syllables, the second line eight syllables, the third line
seven syllables, etc... until line nine that finishes with one syllable. It can be on any subject and
rhyming is optional.
