A fairy's free, careless, playful life is really difficult, isn't it? |
| She giggles, peeking around a tree People can't see her, she's a fairy She skips on flowers without being seen And flies through the woods along with the breeze Her rosy face is aglow with mirth She smells of sweet poppies and the scent of earth She dances with flowers that fall from the trees And plays games of tag with the bumblebees She zips through the air, not a care in the world The flag of joy in heart completely unfurled During the night she skips on a pond And dances with fireflies until the break of dawn She rests under a toadstool, her blanket a leaf "A fairy's life is hard," She yawns, then falls asleep |
