Manifesting Change in my life... |
| Dear Me, It's 2011. You know what that means; time to revisit my goals/dreams and bring positive change into my life. The past couple of years I have focused on internal changes, it has been an amazing journey and while I'm grateful for the experiences lately I've felt like something is missing... I want more out of my life. It's not a bad thing to want more, it is a sign to say I'm ready for something new. I am ready to go all the way and turn my dreams into reality. Back to School In order to land my dream job, I need to complete three courses: 1. Certificate in Health (Nutrition, Weight Loss Management & Consulting) 2. Certificate in Health Science (Life Coaching) 3. Certificate IV in Business (Small Business Management) I have all the information and materials to complete the first course, Certificate in Health, term begins February 7 and will take five months to complete. I need to save $3000 to complete the Certificates in Health Science and Business over the second half of 2011 (both require six months to complete). Achieve and Maintain my Goal Weight My goal weight is 68kg. To reach this goal I need to burn 29kg of FAT by eating healthy and exercising regularly . I've spent the past twelve months dealing with the issues holding me back as well as learning to love myself. I believe it is important to have s positive and loving attitude towards oneself to achieve a healthy body. To help keep myself motivated I am competing in two fitness challenges: 1. Eight Week Challenge (February 7 – April 3) 2. Twelve Week Challenge (May 1 – July 24) My Writing Goals My main goal in 2011 is to make writing a daily habit. If I want to be a published author I must take the time not only to write but also be productive. I have several projects I would like to work on; below is a rough outline as to how I will spend my writing year. First Quarter (February-March) – Outline Major Project / Set up Minor Projects Second Quarter (April-June) – Research for Major Project / Build on Minor Projects Third Quarter (July-September) – Write draft for Major Project Fourth Quarter (October-November) – NaNo Prep/Complete NaNoWriMo Minor Projects: These are several smaller (ongoing) projects that I've been working on. Some are the basis for future publishing goals; others are just items I've been putting off for the past couple of years. Aim is to write one new item a week as well as continue/maintain ongoing projects. Major Project: This is my pet project (otherwise known as Operation Global Domination) my goal this year is to finish the draft of book one in the series. Now is the time to manifest positive change in my life. No more waiting on the sidelines – Get Moving! YOU CAN DO IT! Word Count: 500 Written for: "Dear Me: Official WDC Contest" |
