Atchafalaya
Never to be forgotten
Atchafalaya

Bayou swamp by you
Mother Earth in its best dress
Louisiana

Mosquitoes are there
Bitten in day and at night
Louisiana

Where snakes do grow wild
Copperheads up da’ wazoo
Atchafalaya

Mississippi swamp
Catfish are runnin’ all day
Atchafalaya

Herons on winged flight
Louisiana Bayou
Atchafalaya

Serendipitous
Lonely quiet paradise
Without detriment

Atchafalaya
Never to be forgotten
