WISH

just looking for honest opinion

                                              If I could see the stars tonight

                                              I would make a wish

                                              That those whom I love

                                              Would not see me like this

                                              But The stars have twinkled out

                                              And left a black abyss

                                              And every wish I've had

                                              Has surely gone amiss

                                              Maybe every wish I asked

                                              Was answered in its way

                                              And that is why the stars

                                              Have left me on this day

                                              So I wish for all of those

                                              Who still see the lights

                                              To wish for someone else

                                              On this darkest of nights

                                              Don't waste them on yourself
