Searching

Looking out across the sea
Seeking something desperately
Searching in and out of mind
Quickly losing sands of time
Who should come to end this game
A hidden knight who has no name
At first glance you'd pass him by
Secrets you keep well inside
When face to face with this man
He will take you by the hand
Gently lead you to the shore
Give you love forever more
He'll look into your inner soul
His searching never takes a toll
You look at him; you do not lie
Secrets you no more can hide
Waking to the sun's soft ray
Ready for another day
Gaining strength you never had
From a stranger iron clad
