Prompt - April 10—art by women, women painters in history or now

I take my brush and draw a thin line,
I follow the curve more lushes now than before.
Deep ochre reflects my mood, smooth summer shade
Pasted gently on the thin canvas.
Thicker brush now generous upward strokes
opening the windows of my soul to capture glancing glances.
A Red life splashing dash - my art is me.
