This is a poem about the appreciation of life and relationships. |
| Hello, I am writing to you, From a place far from here, I am sitting so quietly, To mediate hate or fear. No, to sit so deprived, Of the fruits of the trees, But so very enriched, On the earth and green leaves. So, I float away, To a place far from here, Drifting down slopes, Of elegant veneer. So dances the light, On winter day snow, That catches a glimpse, Of forever ago. Trickling down, Off the tongue, Prickly spine, To elbows. How it all, Steadily, Flows. |
