Bittersweet

I wrote this for a special friend in high school.

    They say love is like an illusion
hard to understand, sometimes confusion
but I have found a for sure conclusion
      love is an absolute blessing
    Though it may not go your way
  causing heartaches, ruining your day
        but let met at least say
      love is an absolute blessing
you have to know the things you're dealing
it affects your mood, how you're feeling
you can have a sense of hope or killing
since love is an absolute blessing
    a kind of blessing that lasts forever
    in your heart and mind it will endeavour
            it will not change, never
      for love is an absolute blessing
