Alone

A poem of loneliness.

I feel so alone, I'm missing a part of me.
I tried to trust, and was betrayed.
It hurts when I'm by myself, my heart aches.
Throbing at the pain, at the quiet ring of the silence all around me.
Raging at the walls betryal has built so soundly.
Why am I so alone?
