Echoes stir this valley deep

Sumptuous feasts the wildlife reap

Shadows line the skyline walls

Eerie sounds the mountain trawls



Wind-swept trees ascend so high

The raindrops make the rivers cry

shivers of cold from darkened frost

Warmth of the sun till morning lost



The sun creeps through the foggy mist

Sweet songs from birds twilight kissed

Sunbeam's drench the ice cold fountains

Awake from sleep this midnight mountain
