About an addiction that is hard to break.

I bleed out the pain
I cannot stop now
Putting this blade to my skin
Is an addiction

I get high off my blood
My life is nothing more
Then these marks
I put on myself

Crying tears at night
Knowing what the next day will bring
Until my whole body
Is covered from head to toe

Let me die bleeding
The world doesn’t understand
I don’t want to hide these scars
Underneath my clothes anymore

Slashing my wrists as hard as I can
