You left me when I needed you the most,
Like a dream of mine that just went up in smoke.
You walked away without a tear or sigh.

You were an angel from my deepest prayers,
Who was supposed to always be there.
But your smile was just a disguise.

Then today you just walk back into my life,
Thinking everything was going to be alright.

I took it really hard when you went away.
