WHY SHOULD I?

Why should I care any longer?

Why should I give you my heart?
All you've done is tear me apart.
I believed in you in the beginning;
now playing a game I'm not winning.

Why should I confide in you,
when trust is now the issue?
Tears flow like rivers now,
I've lost all faith somehow.

Why should I try again,
return to where I've been?
Dark clouds now follow me,
replacing laughter with needless misery.

Why should I trust you;
accept paranoia as just due?
Letting you go is best,
for friendship isn't a test.

Why should I write this,
when the point you'll miss?
Give credit where it is due,
because the problem belongs to YOU!
