Thank you, teacher...

A simple thank-you poem to all the teachers out there...

Thank you teacher, for always being there
Whenever we were lost, or had something to share
You showered love on us when no one seemed to care 
And you always seemed to have this remarkable flair

You would always be there to guide us
And show us the right thing to do
You’ve always been quick to fix wrongdoings
And give those transgressors a chance to begin anew

Many a time your body would have given up
But still, somehow, you always find strength to push through
Please always stay like this, don’t ever stop
And after all your hard work, now we offer this to you!

You brought us joys untold
And filled our hearts with moments of gold
Thank you teacher, for all that you have done
For me, for my classmates, for everyone!
