You an I in the Melting Pot

A short poem on how we as people are all interconnected.

No matter what there will always be at least
one thing that binds
us as people
together as a whole
that is our ability to perceive emotions
No matter your beliefs
your religion
your social rank
or your political standpoint
we all can still hurt
and we all can still love.
one's political views does not hinder a man's ability to love his wife
or a widows ability to weep over her loses
One's God is another's Jah
One's faith is another's intuition
One's love is another's hate
but no matter what we are one
and we shall live unified as one,
not as two,
not as three,
or even as divided nations,
just as one...
