Floating

I'm not sure what to say about this one.

Floating above the clouds, I gaze into the emptiness of space. I reach forward, in a desperate attempt to find an anchor. A bit of reality to bring me back to earth. As I reach forward, I pull back a hand as empty as my soul. Staring into my hand, a tear forms, and slides down my cheek. Taking with it the last bit of hope left inside of me. I take one last look at the land below me, as I begin my final ascent into absolute nothing.
