Poem of Love

I watched you with a careful eye,
And I knew since then, love has arrived.
The most vibrant light I’ve ever seen,
Came out right on your special spot.

I closed my eyes really tight,
I told myself, I would never forget this moment.
In my heart this memory is locked
Engraved over the steepest rocks of my mind.

And you opened my eyes with your affection.
As you kissed me soft and sweet.
I remember that kiss like it was forever.
It was worth every second of bliss.

Your melodious face was full of profound love,
With sincerity, strong and indomitable as time.
Our fate was not solely sealed by friendship,
But of something more special inside.

Your love is a charming melody in my heart,
An obra maestra of an artist in you.
Your embrace lifts me up so high,
I could probably fly to the heavens above.

We know our love will never be,
But at least, I’ve got the chance to love you,
And to have your arms wrapped around me
Even if it was only for a moment.
