just a poem |
| My heart on the line, the words on the page Cannot change your mind or ease your rage With a great deal of sadness and tears of pain I carry around my ball and chain You sit alone in your chair To read these words, you do not dare An open book the story flows To which our love can decompose It’s ended now and you are gone I know now what I did was wrong Your still not here and I’m still not there To read these words, you do not dare Time can heal all but wounds Within me now this all consumes Bottled up and sent to sea I know nothing but you and me I love you though you’re unaware To read these words, you do not dare |
