The Soldiers From America

War is a struggle
You must move on
If you can not
Then you will be gone

The soldiers from America
Know this lesson well
They can witness to the truth
That war is pure hell

For some of them it was their choice
For others it was not
America was their common cause
It was for us that they fought

They fought for our freedom
And for our countries pride
Because of them we can live
In the country we reside

They gave their all
They gave their lives
But we the people
Do not realize
That even without hope
Their lives they gave
For the land of the free
And the home of the brave
