I wrote this in November 2005 in hopes to give it to my ex with a ring.

The shape of my heart.
The foundation of my love.
Never-ending.
Unbreakable.
Perfect throughout.
My love for you is forever.
It started long ago,
But it will not end.
It was weak at first,
But now it will never bend.
You are the one I love and adore.
You are the one I want forever more.
Within this circle lies a gift.
One I gave to you once before.
I give to you again
Something precious,
Something true.
My heart always belonged to you.
