Leaving nature, and coming back to the world |
| When I find the moment or if I've found the spot that speaks to me of truth or beauty, all that the rest is not; It is then that I almost touch the mountains, become the fury of the sea, and I want to hold that power of what must have always meant to be For it's the height, the power or the great expanse that will inspire for just that moment to entrance, Until (and then) I find the meadow that shows me how to understand to live my life as I see in that tiny spot of land. And still I think that I can capture that calm knowledge and bring it with me back to the world of towering buildings, turbines of power, and churches with banners unfurled. |
