She shakes off her anger like the wind blowing silently through the leaves.

Endless War

Lost deep in an unending thought
wondering why it is that I fought
i fight not for myself but for you
I fight for you because you are true
Life takes a turn for the worse
Yet you don't turn and begin to curse
You let it go like it did not hurt
You shake it off like dust and dirt
Why is it that you do this
Is there something under that splendor and bliss
Is there something you try to hide
or maybe you have someone to be your guide
I see now what I failed to before
You see things other than this endless war
