FOOL
Many thoughts go through my mind when I think of you
My thoughts so bombarded that my head starts to ache
I feel love when I see you and I don’t know what to do
But I bite my tongue and refrain for my hearts sake

Wishing I could have another chance to do right by you
Feeling regret while happy that you found someone
That makes you happy wishing that it was me knowing I was a fool
Having realized we can’t be again, what’s done is done

Not wanting to accept that we’ve come to the end of our road
I love you always but will do so from afar
Knowing I didn’t give my all and treated you cold
No matter what I do or where I am you are forever in my heart

My soul aches for you knowing we’re forever through
As I sit and reflect I think “What a fool”
