I just want you to be happy

All I seek,
Is to find the one.
The one who loves.
The one who gives.
The one who stays.
The one who knows who I am.
The one who can see behind this mask.
I had him once.
He slipped away.
I lost him once,
He said he wasn't any good,
That I should find one better.
But I know his heart.
He's better than me.
Why can't he see?
I still love him.
That much is true.
If he is happy,
Then I can pretend to be.
