With Valentine's Day around the corner, I was inspired to try to write a love poem.

I love you dearly.
I mean that sincerely.
No more can I deny,
forever it’s you and I.

People may question
our lifelong intentions
and claim we live a lie.
Forever it’s you and I.

We’ll offer no explanations
this path is ours to choose.
We’re sure to beat expectations,
so we have nothing to lose.

So kiss me, don’t wonder
if our lives will sunder.
Our love will never die.
