This poem is about disregarding feelings. |
| A shallow heart never stops, To consider of what it has done. It always assumes that it has won, And thinks as itself on the top. It has no feelings of the soul, And disregards the entire heart. It waits for the time to start, Hoping the lonely becomes the foul. A shallow heart grabs onto its prey, And holds on for dear life. Until the day when its time to listen to what it has to say, That’s when the shallow heart then becomes the prey. |
