All Grown Up Now

All Grown Up

Today, I’m all grown up,
As I have been for a while now.
I put on my skirt for work
And slip on my red high heel shoes.

I found myself wishing I could
Run into my mother’s closet
And rummage through her makeup drawer.

The thunder still scares me
And my favorite game is still go fish.
But I’m all grown up now.
