Poetry that examines human nature, and takes a step back from previous political works. |
Skin-to-skin Skin-to-skin, our hearts are kin. Skin-to-skin, our lips share more than secrets. Skin-to-skin, I've long since surrendered; my heart is yours, do with it what you will... My skin, your skin, the oceans of your eyes set me adrift, like a doomed Greek adventurer. Skin-to-skin... I can feel their envy, but you know that no religion, no law will stop me! Because, any decree that begs the differ of me being who I was meant to be, is pure lunacy! Our bodies are married, skin-to-skin, with no regard for their oppressive laws. Skin-to-skin...my skin, his skin, melding. Where do I began? |
