It makes me sad to think,
Of the anger and the hurt
After all the good times that we had
For it to have ended in this way

The fond memories I had of you
Have all been blown away
Now I only have,
Pain and misery

I hope in time
I can look back
With a smiling face
And a laugh
At all the things we have done

Until then,
I guess
It is time to say goodbye
On better terms in the future,
