Written for a a writing class many years ago, based on the Myth of Lilith

I became his first wife
THE first wife
But we did not agree
So I left
And God made him a new wife
Eve
From his rib
Who felt little or no
Need to be equal

Or perhaps
She simply did not express it
For after all
She caused
Their Fall
From Eden
