Smiling while i'm hiding

I may smile but you don't know why.

When you see me smile,
There is something that i'm hiding,

When you see me laughing,
I'm hiding from my sadness,

I'm tired of hiding,
Every part of me,

I live in my lies of happiness,
To try to hide the darkness,

I'm scared of who I am,
I haven't seen me in awhile,

So when you see me hiding,
I'm going to start smiling.
