Where is the Country?

America's allegiance to God, dwindling faith, moral integrity and the path being taken.

Where is the Country?

Where is the country nations feared to trod?
Have we turned away from Almighty God,

Forgetting the blessings of God in the past:
Thinking His patience forever will last?

Do we no longer fear God’s righteous wrath:
And think we’ll remain on this crumbling path?

Do we no longer care about doing what’s right,
No longer want to stand up and fight

For moral character and principals strong
For accountability when things go wrong?

This country was built on the blood, sweat and tears
Of those who believed and had faith through the years

Faith that caused them to leave the land of their birth
Where they could worship in freedom and till the good earth

But where is the spirit of those who were here;
The spirit of courage and Godly fear?

The spirit of perseverance through trials and pain;
The spirit of commitment in order to gain.

Have we lost this spirit and our allegiance to God?
Where is the nation others feared to trod?
