The truth about a lie my opinion |
| A lie is a dark spark that develops in your heart. Once spoken the spark quickly becomes a fire out of control, A raging flame fueled by your desire for the lie to become truth. Yet a lie is a lie condemned to stay a lie once told. Even the tears of the ones you hurt cannot extinguish its burning fury. Once the truth is told the flames may fade, but remain ever present. So a simple spark has destroyed the faith, of the ones burnt. Can the embers change to ashes, can the faith be reborn? It is likened to a great fire of a forest; the faith is but a seed. Only truth and a constant truth will let the seed grow into a tree of faith. And trust like a mighty oak may never grow to the magnificence of its beginnings, once charred by the practice of deceit. |
