Have you ever seen an angel cry
as he falls from heaven
like a flaming star
crashing amidst our world
never to fly again.

Trapped within a mortal body
passion burning inside his blood
as he tries to find a way
to the stars whence he came,
to fly free once more.

Crash from heaven.
Burn in hell,
too good for on too bad for the other
all these tears flow free
in a world without care.

The climb is great
the fall unimaginable,
stuck in this world
his cries are unheard,
an angels wings start to wither.

Have you ever seen an angel cry
the tears of happiness
when recognised by another
to stop their busy schedule
and teach him how to fly once more.

Crash from heaven.
Burn in hell,
too good for one too bad for the other
all these tears flow free
in a world without care.

Have you ever seen an angel cry
from the love of another
whose sympathy has gained his hope
to restore his wings
and fly once more.

Crash and burn
up to the sky
an angel gains his wings,
tears flow freely.
