false friends,lying partners,games/decite everywhere. trusting has become too dangerous

Trust noone is the way to stay safe,
the way to keep face,
getting that strange feeling again in my gut,
something isn't right
so I'll kick back and watch quietly,
will whatever it is be worth the fight?
Something keeps nagging,
tugging at my mind tonight,
Unfounded fear?
Or is something waiting to bite?
