He was There

Love poem for my fiance.

I was lost, beyond all repair.

I was hidden, I don't know where.

I was drowning in the sea of life.

I was wading through too much strife.



But then he was there, this man.

He was there, and he had a plan.

He loved me through it all.

He never dropped the ball.



I don't know what the future is.

I don't know if I can handle this.

I do know that I love him so.

I do know I won't let him go.
