A poem about loneliness. Has not been edited

Loneliness is a cruel companion
with its' heavy silence and
solemn disposition
Offering neither solace or friendship
but insists on reminding you
of your predicament
Everywhere you go,
it's lagging not that far behind
Loneliness with its icy fingers
accepts neither hand or glove;
just wants to witness your dissent,
without love

Living and breathing,
you see the light of day
but loneliness hovers over you;
keeps you in the shade
Summers warmth escapes you
The colors of Spring blind you
Fall has lost its' magic
and Winter confines you
Loneliness revels in your solitude
A witness to it all
and sometimes just for kicks
brings its' friend Depression along
