Nature's differences |
| The sky is dim The clouds are thick The ashes lie hot And wait with baited breath How relatively simple To be of the Earth How short time seems As evil approaches Soon enough Heat has a friend Flame meets Rain in his watery grave Unable to escape His twisted frienemy Opposites attract As all nature must So one comes back out And the other never wakes But one will not always emerge the victor For each is his equal So all must meet his somber end It's a thing of beauty A thing of nature It's a stormy night thing It's only a pitter-patter thing. |
