Simply a poem |
| I am a shadow, Quiet as can be, You can take a guess, But you never will, See me as I am I could be the shadow, of some prince from across the sea I could be the darkness, Hiding in a good man's soul, that only you can see I could be an elephant, Big and large and wide, Tall enough so in my shadow, Smaller beings may hide I could be an oak tree, Higher than an eagle soars, Over the mountains, blue and green I could even simply be your shadow, A twin if you will, I'm your darkess to your light, Your yin to your yang And here I thought you could guess it, I guess you never will, And so, I lie here still |
