Pain and life

I'm done with this world, this life, the pain never ends.
Knocked down, get back up, the world turns, starts again.
The words you say drip like honey, numb thoughts, coat my mind.
The present, the future..... everything.....undefined.

Broken promise, shattered dreams, the choices we make.
A self serving moment, forgetting.....not caring what's at stake.
Self is shattered, broken, strewn across the floor
Each time it's the same, but still go back for more.
