My Friend, You were human just like all of us
there was no magic wand to take away Your pain
You pleaded with Your Dad to "please remove the bitter cup"
He heard. But Your pleading was still in vain

The assignment was sat for You when You came down to Earth
In human flesh You had to hang on a cruel cross
Nothing else could save the World from what Adam did
Without Your shed blood this entire World would be lost

You prayed to Yourself and Your tears turned to blood
You're fully God and fully Man and You came from Eternity
Third Person of The Godhead lives in born-again believers
You are my Friend...Three-in-One God...You're THE GRACE-GIVING TRINITY!!!

TO GOD BE THE GLORY NOW AND FOREVER!!!
